Olympia, how big is our city? I would love to research some numbers around our city. What’s the population. What’s the population combined with Lacey and Tumwater. Did you know that Lacey has a higher population density then Olympia?
How do we fare compared to other communities our size and scope??

I really should write something about the upcoming Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall on Nov. 9th. I’m invited to speak at a panel celebrating the anniverary in a Lacey High School. But what to say? It might be a really great time to re-interview my parents of their experience growing up in West Berlin before the Wall was built (my father) and Dresden (my mother)?

My soccer team I follow in Germany VfB Stuttgart really sucks right now. Bummer. Always kills my weekend. Good thing is that other German teams don’t do much better, especially on the international stage (read: Champions League).

Met and talked with a couple people about my idea to write a book. Still not sure if a book is the right medium to express my thoughts??
