I take Food Pictures Over Cat Pictures Any Day

In McSweeny’s Open Letter to People who takes pictures of food in Instagram Katherine Markowich laments about the endless string of food pictures everywhere on the internet. And to a certain degree I would agree with her, but, but! she closes his letter/rant by encouraging more cat pictures instead and I 100% disagree with her there.

I HATE cat pictures, any pet picture really and would love every moment of my life back when I clicked on a link thinking I would find a sweet family moment of a friend of mine yet finding myself horribly disappointed since all I found was yet another cuddly, sweet, bubbly, fuck-ass horrible picture of some weird furr ball.

Give me that blurry picture of your McDonalds fries you eat in your car with you kids any day. Any day!
