How Society Deals With Right And Wrong

I read an incredible article last week on Norway’s philosophy behind the mass-murder verdict and would’ve loved to translate the gist of it, but I, lucky for me, found a pretty decent article in The Atlantic that goes down a similar thought process:

… the vastly different philosophies undergirding the two systems are a reminder that, even if right and wrong are universal, how society treats them is not.

This is the fascinating nugget to ponder.
