Don’t know how many times I was close to pulling the trigger on buying the Instapaper app and diving into the experience,  just to end up on the homepage and being turned off by it’s design. For someone like Marco Arment who frets so much over little details in light bulbs, baby monitors and of course apps, I am a bit surprised that his homepage doesn’t pop more.

With all the marketing he does, it would be very interesting to do some A/B testing and redesign the landing page and see if he can get more conversions from his ads.
