Aside from the eye-candy and the great collaboration features, what strikes me is that Wunderkit is build with the creative professional in mind. While 37Signals focused with Basecamp on teams within companies, Wunderkit speaks to the individual contractor and entrepreneur, the one-person company. Something that has been talked about a lot as the future of business, the person that doesn’t work for a business all his life, but a creative professional that collaborates with multiple people among many different groups, companies and teams.
You can also manage your projects privately and publicly, which is an great feature in our increasingly transparent world.
It’ll be interesting to see how and if 37Signals will respond with their new Basecamp that is going to be released very soon.
