Gary V. asks in this Youtube clip from Bloomberg why we celebrate businesses that raise money more then businesses that make money.

What I like about this question, is that it’s putting an interesting twist to the current trend of bubble raising by tech companies that have no clue how to monetize. And the sole goal seems to be to raise VC cash rather then turn a profit and create a successful, sustainable business. No more whining about bubbles, and asking the right questions.
