Today I had a weird “doh” moment. Yesterday we took the family out to the beach at Grayland State Park, and we had a beautiful Winter day so the amount of drift wood and other stuff washed up on the beach didn’t make us think twice. All looked normal and fascinating to beach comb.

Well, today it hit us, that some of the stuff that washed on the shore might’ve been from the Tsunami in Japan last year – which would explain the gigantic lightbulb we found with Japanese writing no it. Doh!

Well, now we’re all freaked out about radiation, oh no.

But, what this really made me think about is how fast we forget things and how weird our lifes are all inter-connected and we live on one planet, all together.

Amazing and bizarre.
