While another SXSW Interactive is coming to an end, I can’t help wondering why we still haven’t seen an app that collects, gathers, digests and reports on your productivity every day. Klout-style. But for real stuff. A daily email with a report on how much you achieved today.
Well, Stephen Wolfram almost did. There are some fascinating graphs on his personal blog counting keystrokes, emails, phone calls and meetings.
He as a set of fascinating data, so it’s possible. So, where’s the app?
Could it be that the app doesn’t exist because the results would actually scare us? In the same way we get bored with Klout as soon as our score drops. We might actually realize how unproductive we are, how much time we waste and how little we do?
Or, we would actually reach a new level of productivity.
