Facebook launches ‘HOME’, a deeply integrated set of apps and introduces the product to the rest of the world with a commercial, so bizarre and outrageous that everyone is scratching their head.

Who is it for?

Here is my take:
It’s for perpetually bored and attention-seeking people. Not a specific age group,  it’s not a generational focus, but it’s for those folks that have nothing to do with their lives. Sure, they might have jobs, and lives, but the ones that are bored with it. The ones that fill their endless hours of mundane shuffling around playing Farmville, or whatever the mind-crushing game of the hour is called. Basically, their target demographic. Those you can show lots of ads.

No wonder, no one on Twitter understands the commercial.
